President Erdoğan said in a speech he made at the General Assembly of TESK, "We are moving to production and yield economies, not waste economies. We are finishing the ongoing projects, those who have been tendered, those who have not started to sit down and talk to them. Right now we're putting them on the edge. The current situation requires this" he said.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the TESK General Assembly held at the Grand Ankara Hotel. Speaking at the General Assembly, Erdogan said, "The name of our country is constantly being tried to be remembered side by side with negativity. Turkey is a country that uses the preference in favor of democracy at a time, despite the impact that had in the past" he said. Erdogan, "We know well how some countries that have encountered similar problems solve by methods that do not fit the free market economy. We are fighting to solve all processes with the methods appropriate to the free market economy, especially the exchange rate movements. But we will not renounce those ways."

"The money circulating in the global economy has begun to gather at certain centers. What I want to emphasize is that what we are experiencing has a meaning beyond our structural problems. We have to solve whatever problems we face. We take the necessary steps one by one. We will have new steps to prevent fluctuations in exchange rates. For instance, we are fundamentally solving the issue of foreign currency rents that closely related our trades."

Erdogan, "We will save money in the public area. We limit the tools used in the public both by number and quality. Many ministries, general managers are tenants. With the count of the Ministry decreasing to 16, we evaluated the buildings that were won and the planning was done. From now on, by leaving all the tenants' places, we carried them around and got a very serious saving from here. We will not have any staff other than the retired number, "he said. Erdogan emphasized the efficiency economy, "We go to the production and yield economy, not the waste economy. We are finishing ongoing projects, those who have not been tendered, will not sit down and talk to them. Right now we're putting them on the edge. The current situation requires this" he said.

Emphasizing that the views on the interest rate have not changed, Erdoğan used the following expressions: "My sensitivity on the interest rate is the same and there is nothing changing. The Central Bank is independent that it takes its own decision itself. But apart from this, there are banks belonging to the private sector and these banks are acting according to the decision of the Central Bank. You see, there are fifty-fifty interest accruals. Do you have a 50 percent profit? This only happens in cannabis, heroin traders. Our banks now stand firmly with all their signs ... The Central Bank is always explaining the year-end inflation forecast. I have not seen the inflation rates announced by the Central Bank so far. does not hold. Inflation is revised in the first or second quarter because it does not hold. Are we still alive when we are always alive? Inflation comes at the expense of these wrong steps that you throw at it. The costumers are paying the trades against the nation. I will also say that this is the high interest."

Saadet Party leader Temel Karamollaoglu: "Friends, if we come to power, we stop all the investments that this government has started today. But why? Because not all investments made to strengthen Turkey today. Investments that make life easier. Not solving unemployment, investments that will increase national income. Outward dependence is not an investment that will close the foreign trade opening. For that reason, we turn our current investments into investments that will stop exports and increase production." he said. 05/11/2017
