At the reception held at the Presidential Complex in Beştepe, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the delegation consisting of the members of the board of directors and the chairman of the affiliated unions, especially the Chairman of Memur-Sen Ali Yalçın. During the meeting, in which the Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Bilgin was also present, the results of the 6th Term Collective Agreement were evaluated, while the expectations of public officials and the topics related to the public personnel regime were discussed.
CHANGES MUST BE MADE IN THE LAW NUMBER 4688
Stating that they will contribute as Memur-Sen labour union on 3600 additional indicators and contracted employment included in the agreement text of the 6th Term Collective Agreement, Yalçın conveyed his expectations for making changes in the Law No. 4688 that will increase the quality of collective bargaining and public servants unionism. On the other hand, Yalçın emphasized that the increase in the collective bargaining bonus to 400 TL adds value to the union membership and said that they are pleased with this decision that the distinction between unionized and non-unioned ones is revealed.
INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN FOR "3600 ADDITIONAL INDICATORS"
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his appreciation for the conclusion of the collective agreement and thanked Memur-Sen labour union Chairman Yalçın and Minister of Labor and Social Security Bilgin. Wishing that the collective agreement would be beneficial for public officials, Erdogan instructed that the works, especially 3600 additional indicators and contracted employment, should be started and completed in 2022, and the necessary works should be carried out immediately to meet the demands and expectations of public officials.
