President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned the mayors over the economy in Kızılcahamam camp of his party.
Erdogan, who warned the mayors to stop new projects, ordered the completion of 40% of the finished projects, and the completion of 70% of the finished projects.
President Erdoğan announced the following:
"There are many projects that cannot be completed. Extending, unfinished projects attracts reaction. Do not project from scratch. 40 percent of the projects done, freeze, 70 percent and more if you have completed these projects first," he said.
This instruction given to the mayors by President Erdoğan reminded the Saadet Party leader Temel Karamollaoğlu's comments over projects.
ERDOĞAN COMES TO THE IDEAS OF KARAMOLLAOGLU
At a time when the economic crisis was intensely felt, President Erdoğan was ordered to stop projects.
In the 24 June elections, the President of the Saadet Party Temel Karamollaoğlu asked the President to stop the projects given by President Erdoğan.
Karamollaoğlu's 'non-production-based investments should be stopped' sayings were criticized by the AKP and the media close to power, President Erdogan's instructions showed how Karamollaoğlu is right.
Regarding the issue, Karamollaoğlu made the following statement:
"We stand behind our promise. If Allah comes to power, we will stop all investments initiated today. We will turn the investments completely into resources."
President Erdoğan's reaction on the issue was as follows:
"Now someone says: 'We'll stop investments.' Because he's not making investments. Would you have been able to reset the debt to the IMF, if it were not for the producing economy?"
President Erdoğan has ordered the mayors to stop investing in them. 'If you had a production economy, why did you decide to stop investments?' questions brought to mind.
