Speaking at the traditional iftar of the Sinop Milli Görüş Members Fair Order Association (SİMGO), the head of the association, Erdoğan Uslu, said that they distributed need packages to nearly 60 people, and that they also delivered fitra and zakat to many needy people.
Stating that SİMGO was founded at the request of Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan, the leader of the Milli Görüş Movement, Erdoğan Uslu said, "As SİMGO, we have been working hard to raise awareness of morality and spirituality for our people, both living in Istanbul and residing in Sinop, since the day we were founded. We are continuing the aid activities initiated by our past president Gökçen Göksal this year as well. On the occasion of Ramadan, we delivered aid packages to nearly 60 needy brothers. Again, we delivered the fitrah and zakat to those in need. As SIMGO, we went to the region to heal the wounds of the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake. We participated in search and rescue efforts, and delivered the cash and goods we collected to earthquake victims. Again, we continue to deliver aid activities to earthquake victims. Hopefully, we will continue to walk in the direction that our teacher Erbakan has drawn for us."
Islam İnce, a member of the General Administrative Board of Saadet Party, also attended the iftar program held in Esenler district of Istanbul.
