Economic and Social Researches Center (ESAM) International Kashmir Congress was completed in Ankara. On the last day of the congress, academics, researchers, lawyers and many experts from all over the world, who attended the congress, revealed one by one the unlawfulness in Kashmir with the information they conveyed. The topics of solidarity, law and colonialism were discussed in depth at the congress.
The International Kashmir Congress, organized by the Center for Economic and Social Research (ESAM), continues in Ankara with the title "Occupied Kashmir in the Framework of International Law". On the second day of the congress, the topics of activism, solidarity and law, especially Kashmir and international actors, were discussed in depth.
INTERNATIONAL ACTORS CONSIDERED ON THE KASHMIR ISSUE
In the 3rd session of the congress, “Geopolitical dynamics; Kashmir and international actors” was discussed. The session chaired by Prof. Kudret Bülbül, was attended by Prof. Nazir Hüseyin from Quaid-i Azam University, Dr. Taner Zorbay from Middle East Technical University (METU), Farzana Yakub from MANTAQ Research Center and Sabah Aslam from the Islamabad Conflict Resolution Institute.
SOLIDARITY AND LAW WERE DISCUSSED
In the 4th session of the congress, the titles of “Activism, Solidarity and Law” were discussed. The session chaired by Dr. Musa Budak were attended by Nave Gordon from the International State Crimes Initiative, Zaid Shuaibi from Al-Shabaka University, researcher author Mehmet Öztürk and Prof. Dr. Shaista Patel from University of California.
COLONIALISM WAS DISCUSSED IN ALL ITS DIMENSIONS
In the 5th session of the congress, the title "From Colonialism to Settler Colonialism Through the Eyes of International Law" was discussed. The session was attended by Professor Dr. Niaz A. Shah from the University of Hull, Mohammed Mushtag from the International Islamic University and Prof. Dr. Richard Falk from University of Princeton.
