Mahmut Çelikus, the current President of the Tradesmen and Craftsmen Association, one of the Milko establishments, was re-elected as the chairman by reassuring him.
Esder 10th Ordinary Congress was held. Many guests, especially Milko Organizations General Secretary İlyas Tongüç, attended the Ordinary Congress hosted by Ostim Organized Industrial Zone.
Speaking at the congress, Milko Secretary General İlyas Tongüç said that ESDER is an important tradesman organization for our country.
"I hope that with this congress, all tradesmen in our country will come together under the roof of ESDER. ESDER is the present embodiment of the thousand-year-old Ahi organization and culture of these lands," he said.
“SUPPORT GIVEN TO TRADESMEN SHOULD BE EXTENDED”
Mahmut Çelikus, Chairman of ESDER, who hosted the congress, stated in his speech that they would accelerate their work as an association. Referring to the grievances experienced by the tradesmen during the epidemic, Çelikus called for the expansion of the support given to the tradesmen and said:
"Partial supports such as rent support and delays in payments provided to tradesmen who have been in a difficult situation since the beginning of the pandemic do not contribute to its sustainability. Because the hole is big, the patch is small. Therefore, it is necessary to continue and expand the scope of support to be given to tradesmen and craftsmen."
