EU pleased, Arab League quiet and Palestine upset

Even the reactions to the "normalization" agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates under the patronage of the USA were enough to demonstrate the gravity of the issue.

Different reactions came from different circles to the normalization agreement between the UAE and Israel. European Union (EU) Commission Spokesperson Nabila Massrali stated that they "welcomed" the agreement. While the German government congratulated Israel on the agreement; British Prime Minister Johnson stated that the agreement is an important step in the normalization process between the two countries. French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian stated that he "welcomes" the agreement.
 
There were different reactions from different circles to the normalization agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The European Union (EU), France, Germany, Britain and other European countries made statements in support of the agreement. EU Commission Spokesperson Nabila Massrali stated that they "welcomed" the agreement between Israel and the UAE. Defending that normalization will contribute to regional stability as well as the two countries, Massrali noted that Israel and the UAE are partners of the EU.
 

SUPPORT FROM GERMANY, ENGLAND AND FRANCE

 
The German government congratulated Israel on the agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the normalization of relations. German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas argued that normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE would make an important contribution to peace in the region. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that the agreement was an important step for the normalization process between the two countries and said, “It was my great hope that the annexation in the West Bank was stopped. With this agreement, it was stopped. "The suspension of this plan today is an important step for peace in the Middle East." In his written statement, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said, "France welcomes the statement that relations between Israel and the UAE, two important partners in the region, have normalized".
 

NO EXPLANATION YET FROM THE ARAB LEAGUE

 
Saudi Arabia, one of the important allies of the UAE among the Gulf countries, kept its silence and did not show any reaction in the agreement reached with Israel; There was no harsh reaction or condemnation from the Arab League against the agreement. Qatar and Kuwait have not yet made a statement regarding the agreement. Egypt's putschist President Sisi revealed his satisfaction with the agreement by posting on his Twitter account. According to the news in the UAE's official agency WAM, Sisi called Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayid Al Nahyan to congratulate him on the deal. Support statements were made from Bahrain and Oman for the agreement between the Gulf countries.
 

ANGER IN PALESTINE

 
The Palestinian People's Liberation Front (FHKC) described the normalization agreement between the UAE and Israel as "a dagger stuck in the back of the Palestinian people". In the written statement made by the Palestinian administration, it was emphasized that the UAE reached this agreement in exchange for the "occupying state" Israel's temporary suspension of the annexation of parts of the occupied West Bank and in the shadow of its plans to Judaize the Masjid al-Aqsa. HAMAS, Fatah and the Islamic Jihad Movement also reacted to the normalization agreement between the UAE and Israel.
 

THIRD ARAB COUNTRY NORMALIZED

 
US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and the UAE had reached an agreement to "completely normalize their relations". Trump said in a statement on his official Twitter account, “Today is a big breakthrough. “The historic peace agreement between Israel and the UAE” was used by our two great friends. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made an assessment of "This is a historic day" by quoting US President Trump's post on his social media account. In the news of the UAE official agency WAM, it was stated that Israel and the UAE agreed to determine a "common road map" for the establishment of relations and that the officials from the two countries would come together in the coming weeks and sign bilateral agreements in different areas. The UAE became the third Arab country to sign a normalization agreement with Israel, after Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994.
