A huge explosion hit Bağlar district of southeastern province of Diyarbakır in Turkey, leaving one martyred and at least 30 wounded.
The explosion occured after car bomb went off in near a riot police building, according to a statement released by the the Governorate. "The wounded are hospitalised" the statement read.
The explosion could be heard several kilometres away and a thick column of white smoke was seen rising from the scene of the blast.
