In the General Assembly, elections will be held for the 30th President of the Assembly on Wednesday, June 7th. The election of the president will be done by secret ballot. 400 votes will be sought in the first two ballots, and 301 votes will be sought in the third ballot.
If an absolute majority is not achieved in the third ballot, the fourth ballot will be held for the two candidates who received the most votes in this ballot. The member with the most votes in the fourth ballot will be elected president.
The names of Numan Kurtulmuş and Fuat Oktay are mentioned for the Presidency of the Parliament in the AK Party. It is said that the probability of Numan Kurtulmuş's presence in the AK Party backstage is higher. It is stated that the MHP will not object to the name Kurtulmuş.
Due to the fact that the number of deputies of the People's Alliance is more than 301, the Speaker of the Assembly is expected to be elected in the third ballot.
