Iran's Ambassador to Ankara Mohammad Farazmand made special statements to the Milli Gazete regarding the economic relations between Turkey and Iran, especially the events in Iran.
Iran's Ambassador to Ankara Mohammad Farazmand stated that the western press exacerbated the turmoil in Iran and noted that the enemies of Iran appeared in this confusion. Farazmand said that the commercial targets between Iran and Turkey will be achieved in a short time and that talks between the two countries regarding a second natural gas pipeline have started.
“THE WEST PRESS EXACERBATES THE TURMOIL IN IRAN”
Referring to the increasing violence in Iran in recent months, Farazmand emphasized that the West caused the turmoil in Iran, and said, “The enemies of Iran, as usual, appeared in this turmoil. There is the influence of western countries here. This is actually a hybrid warfare technique.”
Expressing that the media distorted the events in Iran, Farazmand said: “The west press wanted to take advantage of this problem. They tried to create instability in Iran.”
A RECORD BROKEN IN OUR TRADE RELATIONS
Farazmand also referred to the increasing relations between Iran and Turkey and said, “In 2021, a record was broken in our commercial relations. A trade volume of 30 billion dollars was determined, it is possible to reach this target. If we use the opportunities well, we will reach this goal in a short time. In order to achieve these economic and commercial goals, we need to strengthen our infrastructure. This is important both in terms of transportation, road and railway infrastructure.”
In addition, Farazmand said that talks have started between the two countries regarding a second natural gas pipeline.
