Farmers disappointed with the announced low purchase prices

The government, which impoverishes the people day by day with taxes and increases, fights inflation by announcing low purchase prices for farmers' products.

After wheat, barley, corn and cotton, beet producers were also disappointed by the announced low purchase price.

While agricultural input costs have increased by more than 100 percent in the last year, the beet purchase price for 2023 was increased by 27.5 percent and announced as 1,855 lira, including the quota completion bonus.

It is feared that the announced beet purchase price will negatively affect beet production next year.
