If you come to power, do not be arrogant, do not take things that do not belong to you, help the weak, there is no eternal power, everyone will give an account to Allah sooner or later. says Alija Izetbegović, pointing to the dangers that managers can easily get caught in. Alija Izetbegović states that power is temporary, while kindness and benevolence are permanent, and advises the administrators not to be complacent. The reason why Alija Izetbegović's message came to life in our hearts is that he concentrated on a moral-centered solution despite the harsh conditions of the period, which we desperately need today. As a matter of fact, he experienced the period of World War I and World War II and pointed out that Muslims were trying to be included in the bipolar world plan created during the Cold War, and explained that Islam is the only power that can eliminate these polarizations.
Alija Izetbegović argued that the conflict can be resolved not with the arguments of bipolar ideologies, but with the encompassing formulas of Islam. Alija Izetbegović, whose message we feel in our hearts, achieved success by awakening the consciousness of the people in the Bosnian War and focused on a unifying solution by focusing on the problems of the Islamic world and all humanity. Alija Izetbegović mentioned three worldviews while evaluating the problems; religion, materialism and Islam… The first is a view that considers only the spiritual side of man and rejects other aspects and does not have an encompassing effect. Aliya İzzetbegovic evaluates eastern religions and Christianity in this category and sees them as the address of another deadlock.
The second view is materialism, which sees people as only matter, Alija Izetbegović evaluates materialist philosophies and Jewish ideology in this area, and argues that the solution can be possible with Islam, which has a justice system that will encompass all humanity. Alija Izetbegović, who witnessed the most difficult conflicts of the period, states that the problems experienced in the world axis are caused by the wrong understanding of Islamic values and emphasizes the internal law and conscience.
He says, “The main thing is the inner law of the person” and states that morality should be at the center for the formation of virtuous societies. Alija Izetbegović, who states that all human systems are fed by violence and competition, argues that Islam is the only power that can direct the world and that a healthy politics can be realized with a divine system that can provide the balance of the world and the hereafter. Alija Izetbegović has an ethics-centered understanding of politics and argues that societies that break their ties with their roots cannot have these values and therefore cannot survive. He says, "Man cannot give up his homeland because the graves of our ancestors are our roots and we cannot take the graves with us, so we cannot give up our roots."
As a matter of fact, he continued his policy, which he tried to carry out after the Bosnian War, in this way and kept moral values in the foreground. The reason why Muslims, who could not or did not want to hear Alija Izetbegović's voice during his lifetime, understood him and listened to his voice after his death, is the moral-centered life order and political understanding he advocated. Today we can hear him better than ever, and we stand by his message.
