In the times when traditional culture was dominant, communication was provided by telephone, telegraph and letters. When the postman entered the neighborhood, a sweet excitement would appear in our hearts and we would head towards the door. While the postman was handing the envelope, he shared our joy and acted with the awareness that what he was carrying was not a piece of paper but love and longing. Those letters, which convey people's longings, love and good wishes, were important to all of us and were read over and over and then kept in a special corner of our homes. Our children in the military, those who went abroad for university education and our distant relatives would convey their feelings through letters and inform them of their situation. Those expressions pouring out from the hearts of our loved ones would have a special meaning in our lives, and centuries-old letters were housed in our homes. In the times when communication was difficult, the emotional bond we established with our relatives was very strong and the love we grew with effort would cover the distance and turn into solidarity.

In the times when traditional culture was dominant, the letter was a powerful communication tool and schools were taught with which expressions to start the letter and what the content would be. The letter was a value and it carried love, it carried love, it carried sacrifice, it carried hope. It was read enthusiastically, read several times and never thrown away. Today, communication can be achieved much more easily through mobile phones and social media, but hearts cannot touch each other and warm bonds cannot be established.

Cell phones, computers, and social media speeded up communication, but turned human relationships into a dull monologue. In order to eliminate this problem, media literacy trainings are given in schools and efforts are made to ensure that communication can continue on the axis of values, but the expected result has not been achieved. As communication accelerates, people complain of loneliness and not being able to connect with each other, and they become robots.

Technology offers opportunities to make our lives easier and reduces our workforce. We can see this as an opportunity and use these tools in accordance with their purpose and in the amount we need. Since communication can be achieved in a few minutes, we can eliminate secular scraps, strengthen our ties with our relatives and turn opportunities into opportunities. We can do it if we want.
