As you may remember, last week, the problems of the impoverished people were on the agenda, we tried to get involved in the event by inclining our ear, but we could not be convinced of the sincerity of the statements made. As a matter of fact, if the dominant system has packed an important and valuable issue for us into one day of the year and presented it under a title, we know that it is desired to transform our perception and weaken our sensitivity on this issue. As a matter of fact, we see that October 17th has been declared as the World Day for the Elimination of Poverty and the problems of people left to starvation have been glossed over with a few minutes of sharing one day of the year.

Think about it, while a singer's love affair, shopping, and holiday destinations are brought up every day, a serious problem like poverty is addressed with a few messages on one day of the year. However, the problems of the impoverished are a situation that concerns all of us and should be on our agenda at every moment.

Elimination of poverty is of course the wish of all of us, but in order to solve an entrenched, chronic problem, the hegemonic system that spreads oppression must first be broken and a justice-centered order prevails, which my Lord has given to Muslims. Individuals who say that our cause is right, must realize this responsibility they have undertaken, and first rebuild their own lives, and then unite their prayers, intentions, efforts and efforts to destroy the castles of oppression. If we cannot make any progress in this sense today, it is because we have not been able to make a radical change in our lives and are included in the corruption of the current system.

The tyrants who tried to direct the world, encouraged by our negligence, insensitivity and silence, tried to spread violence and impoverished the peoples by upsetting the balance of the earth. Poverty has upset all the balances and people have come to think of nothing but saving the day. Family members gave up everything in order to reach their basic needs and neither adult, young nor child could continue their lives in their natural course. Our puppies, whose childhood was stolen, said goodbye to the games and went on an endless journey to bring bread to the family. And beyond, the great men continued to rant and rant, but no one touched upon their stolen childhood.

According to UNICEF reports, poverty has reached the middle class due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the number of children living in poor households has started to increase rapidly. In societies hit by poverty, children were forced to work under harsh conditions to contribute to the family, and they said goodbye to childhood in exchange for little money. Taking away a puppy's childhood means that you cut him off from the motives that connect him to life, which is not as easy as it seems for the child.

The safety of children is our responsibility, regardless of their ethnicity or cultural environment. But it is a pity that we cannot do anything but pray while the innocence of children is being snatched. As a matter of fact, you may remember that in the recent past, thousands of children left orphaned by the war were taken to European countries as a worthless item, and we could not find any information about the fate of these children.

Every violence sown by the global capitalist system affects children first and their burden is getting heavier. We all have to take responsibility for the end of this difficult journey that is seen as a treat for children and the return of their snatched innocence. Let's not forget that poverty is not a problem that is passed from father to son, and the cost of mistakes made by adults should not be imposed on children. Children are among the rich of this world with their vast imaginations and dreams that reach horizons, as long as we do not take away these gains from them and impoverish them.
