The value of brotherhood envisaged by Islam brings hearts closer and strengthens the sense of sharing, ensuring that needs are met naturally. Everything in the universe is interrelated and there is an uninterrupted shopping. As a matter of fact, creatures are in need and needs make sharing necessary, human nature has been created in accordance with intimacy and sharing.
Self-oriented, individual lifestyle is not compatible with human nature, so individuals who try to live their lives alone become prone to social adaptation problems and mental disorders. Psychiatrists state that mental disorders are less common in societies where sharing is dominant, and they state that individuals who share their bread and love feel happier and more successful. None of us are strong and active regulars of the island alone, we are like the fingers of a hand and need each other.
The kinship system is an opportunity for individuals to establish a solidarity network in the place considered as a guesthouse, which will not be needed in the hereafter. By establishing the brotherhood of Islam, our supreme religion has further expanded this network and strengthened it with the hands of believers. Islamic brotherhood, which has a stronger and more inclusive quality than kinship relations, brings the hearts of individuals closer and ensures that their needs are met naturally. People who cannot form ties of kinship or who have problems at this point cling to life with the support of their believing brothers and gain strength with their love.
If you have built your life on a consistent balance, you will take your place in the community of the ummah and you will not care about any interests, you will share in the pain and joy of your brothers. You share your bread and love and build a bridge out of love.
Islamic brotherhood is a solidarity network that holds Muslim peoples together. But Muslims, who were integrated into the capitalist system, unfortunately moved away from the established brotherhood and started to build their relations on material interests. Muslims secularized, believed that money could solve everything, and they destroyed that bridge built with love.
However, this situation led to an increase in mental problems such as feelings of emptiness and loneliness. People were deprived of the gains brought by fraternal relations, and they began to lose their resistance and see each other as a danger. When the bond of love that brought hearts closer disappeared, the murderers who murdered their children, spouses, neighbors and friends, the dark faces that spread danger on the streets began to increase rapidly and we turned into a worried society.
You walk through the crowds, but you do not know what daggers the people you meet carry in their hearts. What you hear and see triggers your fears and you cannot feel safe. And you encounter a circle of danger that surrounds you in your home, on the street, in your work environment and in all areas of life. You take all kinds of measures to feel safe, but the clowns of mercy continue to spread danger by crossing all borders. When the feeling of brotherhood, which softens the hearts and gives a feeling of closeness, disappears, compassion disappears and you become afraid of everything.
The value of brotherhood envisaged by Islam is an indispensable dynamic for the peace and tranquility of the society.
It is essential to develop this dynamic in order to build a strong and civilized society whose members are connected to each other.
