France's nationalist police unions threatened the government.
"At the end of the day, we'll be the ones who get the job done. The situation changes if the necessary legal protection for the police is not provided. Today we are at war, tomorrow we may be in resistance. The government better know this," the union stated.
PASSAGES, PUBLIC BUILDINGS, VEHICLES WERE SET ON FIRE
The conflict between the police and the protesters has increased in the demonstrations in France since the death of a 17-year-old young driver named Nael M., as a result of the fire opened by the racist police on June 27.
In the country where police stations, public buildings and vehicles were set on fire, night curfews were imposed in 10 cities.
Bus and tram services were canceled across the country, and armored vehicles stepped in to suppress the protests.
