Küçükçekmece Municipality brought together four important first-printed and signed works to commemorate the 88th anniversary of the birth of Oğuz Atay, the master pen of Turkish literature, at the 'Signed and First Edition Books Museum'.
Oğuz Atay's first unknown work, Topography, which is a professional thesis that he wrote while he was an associate professor at the Istanbul State Academy of Engineering and Architecture, was presented to book lovers from the Alper Çeker archive. In the museum; The first editions of the master author's books The Disconnected (Tutunamayanlar), Dangerous Games (Tehlikeli Oyunlar) and A Scientist's Novel (Bir Bilim Adamının Romanı) were opened to the public as of October 12, Atay's birthday.

Küçükçekmece Municipality Director of Culture and Social Affairs Güney Özkılınç invited all literature lovers to the Autographed Books Museum and said, “While we commemorate one of the leading names of our literature, Oğuz Atay, on his birthday, we are home to his masterpieces that left a mark on Turkish literature. We are excited and happy to host. This precious exhibition was created from the archive of valuable researcher and collector Alper Çeker. I would like to thank him personally and on behalf of our Mayor Kemal Cebi. We invite all literature lovers to the Autographed Books Museum.” The Signature Museum, implemented by the Küçükçekmece Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate, welcomes its visitors between 10:00 and 20:00 except Mondays.
