The first meeting to be held between the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and Confederation of Public Servants Trade Unions (Memur-Sen) regarding the regulation of 3600 Additional Indicators, which has been on the agenda of public servants for years, will take place today.

The first meeting regarding the 3600 Additional Indicator regulation, which is closely related to millions of civil servants and retired civil servants, will be held today. At the meeting to be held under the chairmanship of Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, Confederation of Public Servants Trade Unions (Memur-Sen) will be at the table with the demands they have prepared regarding the regulation. The 3600 Additional Indicator regulation, which will affect civil servant salaries, pensions and bonuses, will cover many professional officials in the public, including police, nurses and religious officials. The regulation, which is eagerly awaited by millions of civil servants and retirees, is expected to be completed by the end of this year. 
 

IT WILL HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON FEES

 
Ali Yalçın, Chairman of ‘Memur-Sen’, who will represent the public employees at the table, underlined that, as the authorized confederation, their goal is to make a fair arrangement. Stating that they want the regulation to cover all public servants, Yalçın said, “This is an extremely important achievement for public servants. Because this will create a serious improvement in retirement bonuses. It will provide an improvement in pensions at varying rates.” 
 

WE WILL SEE THE PREPARATION OF THE MINISTRY 

 
Talking about how the process will continue, “It has been publicly stated that the Ministry of Labor has made preliminary preparations. We will see what this preliminary preparation is and we will be at the table to represent the employees so that it can be discussed, developed and a fair arrangement is made,” Yalçın added.
