First meeting of staff to contracted realized!

The delegations came together for the first time within the scope of the contracted employment activities, which were decided with the 6th Term Collective Agreement and expected to be completed in 2022.

The first meeting was held regarding the recruitment of contracted employees. Memur-Sen Confederation Deputy Chairman Hacı Bayram Tonbul and accompanying technical committee, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Faruk Özçelik and the delegation consisting of bureaucrats of the Ministry came together to complete the decided "Work on Contracted Personnel Employment", which is the provision of the 6th Term Collective Agreement and decided to be completed in 2022, to implement it. In the meeting held, regarding the contracted personnel employed in local governments, especially the 4/B contracted personnel, the personnel who passed from 4/C to 4/B, and the contracted personnel in other public institutions and organizations, Memur-Sen Confederation conveyed its evaluations and proposals along with the reports which had previously produced as a result of the Council and Workshops it arranged.
 

STAFF RIGHT SHOULD BE GIVEN AGAINST VICTIMIZATIONS

 
Deputy Chairman Hacı Bayram Tonbul conveyed the demands of Memur-Sen Confederation during the meeting. “Our proposal is that the main form of employment in the public sector is permanent staff. Therefore, all of the existing 4/B contracted personnel should be recruited as in 2011 and 2013, taking into account previous term of service and titles of personnel who passed from 4/C to 4/B and especially taking into account the grievances of the contracted personnel in municipalities. In addition, the personnel employed in different contract types in other public institutions and organizations should be recruited in line with the demands of the institutions and employees,” he said.
