The container, which the citizens placed in the garden of the house with their own means in Tut district of Adıyaman, was swept away by the flood waters when the stream overflowed. While the dead bodies of 2 people in the container were reached, 2 people disappeared.
Tokat Governor Numan Hatipoğlu, who was appointed as a coordinator in Adıyaman, made investigations in the region.
Hatipoğlu stated that the container provided by the citizens with their own means was caught in the flood waters.
"Some of our teams and vehicles in the city are here, and some of them come by clearing the road. Our teams continue their search. We are trying to reach other citizens as well," he added.
It was decided to evacuate the patients who were treated at the Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital, which flooded after the flood disaster.
After the decision, the patients in the service were transferred to other hospitals in the city with many ambulances.
In the statement made by the Governorship of Şanlıurfa, "On 15.03.2023, education and training at all school levels in our province was suspended for one day, and our personnel working in public institutions were also considered on administrative leave. Personnel working in health, AFAD, Police, Gendarmerie, 112, Highways, forest intervention and municipalities due to their emergency services will be outside this scope and will be at their duty," it was stated.
