Turkey's Manisa province was one of the cities most preferred by foreign investors for agricultural land investments. Many foreign investors started to invest in fields, animal farms and greenhouses in Manisa and its districts.

According to the data of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, the size of active agricultural properties such as fields, vineyards, orchards and olive groves acquired by foreign real persons through sales and similar means is 16 million 265 thousand 176 square meters.

Tamer Yaşar, Chairman of the Board of Grolidya Agriculture Joint Stock Company, "This year, we have established more than a thousand decares of almond and pistachio orchards for foreign investors in Gördes, Kula and Salihli districts. We are continuing the land preparations of some investors. Almonds and pistachios will be planted on the lands we have prepared. One of the most important reasons why investors prefer Manisa in particular is the fact that large-scale land can still be found in Manisa," he said.
