The automobile has now become a necessity… A necessity brought by the age. A means of transportation, a means of commerce… It is a tool we look for at every moment of our lives, at weddings and funerals.

The burden again turned and wandered on the back of the citizens. Every hike had a reason in the first days, but there is no need for defense the hikes anymore. Or undefended.

Those who "always buy 50 liras of fuel" could not reach the other station with what they bought.

After the fuel hikes which up automaticly, the citizens had to stop their cars.

After the price hikes, which were more than 1 lira almost every day, gasoline stood at 19 liras and diesel at 20 liras.

Despite the exorbitant prices, no one knows where the hikes will stop while the government does not keep its mouth shut.

As such, the burden was once again on the shoulders of the citizens.

THE 5TH BIGGEST HIKE IN THE LAST 7 DAYS IS EXPECTED TODAY

* On March 2, LPG auto gas was increased by 61 kurus.

* On March 3, gasoline was increased by 88 kurus and diesel was increased by 1.51 TL.

* On March 4, gasoline increased by 53 kurus and diesel increased by 1.33 TL.

* On March 5, an increase of 69 kurus in gasoline and 84 kurus in diesel was made.

*As of today, it is expected that there will be an increase of 57 kurus for gasoline and 1 lira and 44 kurus for diesel.

"We have seen many crises, but we have never seen such a crisis"

Having experienced economic crises many times before, Turkey has never seen anything like this!

Even during the oil crisis of the 70s and the Cyprus embargo, such high fuel prices were not witnessed by politicians.

There is no logical and economic justification for the increases in fuel in Turkey, where those who have vehicles "fill their tanks" and become unable to get on their vehicles.

Under these conditions, as of tonight, it is expected that there will be an increase of 1 lira 44 cents for diesel and 57 kurus more for gasoline. Thus, diesel will withstand 22 liras and gasoline 20 liras!
