Erbakan's old friend, Asiltürk, was sent off to his eternal resting place with prayers. Asiltürk, one of the consciousness monuments of the National Vision (Milli Görüş) cause, who was with Erbakan every step of the way, passed away at the age of 86, the previous day at Ankara City Hospital.
After the funeral prayer, which was held after the noon prayer in Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque yesterday, Asiltürk's body was buried in Cebeci Asri Cemetery with prayers. While tens of thousands of "Milli Görüş" lovers from home and abroad attended the funeral, Asiltürk was sent off to his eternal resting place with the prayers of millions.
"May ALLAH grant us to meet in his paradise"
Making a short statement at Asiltürk's grave, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu said, "May Allah have mercy on him, may his place be heaven and his rank high. May Allah allow us to meet in heaven. May Allah have mercy on our brother Oğuzhan, his relatives, all Muslims lying here and all our past."
"HE HAS GREAT SERVICE TO THIS COUNTRY AND THIS NATION"
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan prayed for Asiltürk and read Sorah Al-Yasin at the mosque before the funeral prayer. Speaking after the funeral prayer, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said:
"We are doing our last duty as we bid farewell to our dear elder brother Oğuzhan Asiltürk to Allah. We have been together for many years with my precious elder, whom we met since our youth. From being a statesman, he has rendered great services to this country and this nation in his political life with his ministries. May Allah bring us all together. We justified our rights. Our condolences to Oğuzhan Asiltürk's family and the entire Milli Gorus community."

While tens of thousands of people from home and abroad attended Asiltürk's funeral, thousands of people from state officials, politics and bureaucracy were also present.
