A Palestinian baby named Faez Abu Ataya, who was born in the days when the occupying Israeli army's attacks on Gaza began, was martyred due to malnutrition as a result of the border gates being kept closed by Israel and the inability of food and medical aid to reach the city.

The body of the 7-month-old baby was brought to Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Belah.
Faez Abu Ataya's tiny body, exhausted from hunger, burned hearts with an iota of conscience and became the last and clearest photograph of the brutality and drama taking place in Gaza.
