Germany will fail to form a government following the recent federal elections in the country, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Sept. 26, blasting Berlin’s "anti-Turkey stance" before the elections.
“There was an election in Germany and we had a referendum. You saw how they attacked Turkey during the referendum period. Now they are attacking us in their own election.
What does the election have to do with us? Why were you trying to use us in the election you held in Germany? You will see, they will now not be able to form a government. That will take at least a couple of months,” Erdoğan said.
“The Netherlands attacked us and they have still not been able form a government,” he added.
