The mentalities that say Islam suppresses and pacifies women ignore the Prophet who stood out in front of the oppressor during the most intense times of the persecution, shouting the right, honorable ouput of Hz.Asiye, Sumeyye and Zeynep. However, they have resisted the most despotic, most notorious oppressors of the time, and cried out and right and justice by risking their lives. Many mujahideen women who have followed their traces in history have pioneered the right to service and have provided great services to humanity through their struggle in the war of truth and superstition.
As you will recall Hz.Hussein and his companions were martyred by Yazid, one of the most notorious infidels in history, and 72 people, most of them from the Prophet's Ahl al-Bayt, were sentenced to captivity in Yazid's palace.
Hz.Zeynep who lost her brother and defender Hz. Hussein was being taken to Ibn Ziyad's palace with a caravan of wounded people, she met with the people of Kufa and returned to the people who betrayed the Messenger of Allah, she screamed fearlessly. Hz.Zeynep who makes similar conversations in the palace of Ziyad and Yazid was exiled by the tyrants to Damascus according to one rumor and to Egypt according to the other rumor. But Zeynep was never one of those who pulled to the shore and continued to say the right and call people to the right even under the most severe conditions.
Hz.Hussein was martyred in Karbala and the rest were first taken to Ibn Ziyad in Kufe and brought to Damascus Yezid's palace. Hz. Zeynep looked at the cut head of her brother and said in a sad voice: “O Hussein! O Messenger of Allah! Son of Mecca and Mina! The son of Fatma, the lady of the world's women! Muhammad Mustafa's daughter's son! ” Those who were bursting into tears against Zeynep's statements could not resist and oppose the cruel ruler who enslaved them. They consented to slavery willingly or with pressure and could not protect the Ahl al-Bayt of the Messenger of Allah.
There are tyrants who are known for the black mark they left in history, and curses are read behind these killers for centuries. However, there is little talk of the courage of the silent masses who submit to the persecution and consent. Let's not forget that a single person cannot slaughter dozens of people, cannot invade the lands of innocent peoples, cannot commit great crimes by the state. There is a mass that willfully or unwillingly support him in his persecution. And this mass who consents to persecution is as guilty as the murderers.
Hz. Zeynep was one of the Ahl al-Bayt of the Messenger of Allah and turned to Yazid in front of the silent masses who consented to the persecution and said: “O Yazid! As a prisoner, we are walking around the city and the earth and this fezza us to narrow, despise us, you glorify yourself. Do you think these events are in your high office, which makes you very proud and happy. Are you very happy to oppress the world? Would you be so happy to have everything come to your liking and take over your reign? Look what my Almighty Lord says: ‘Those who disbelieve do not think that the time we have given them is good for them, but we only give them time to increase their sins. There is a humiliating punishment for them ’(Ali Imran, 178). O Yazid! Engage in your own business, order and cheat as you wish, but praise be to Allah that you will not be able to erase our name, extinguish the revelation and kill us, you will not finish our work! You won't be able to wipe that stain off your forehead!”
Since the Prophet Adam, dozens of prophets have been sent to tell the truth on earth, they have fulfilled their duties in difficult conditions and enlightened people. But even in the face of small breezes, societies began to change direction and deteriorate. The love of the world prevailed, and people came from the line of truth. What Hz. Hussein and Islamic women Hz.Zeynep taught us was not to bow in front of the tyrant but was to shout the truth in a loud voice.
