Afterwards, US Ambassador to Turkey Ross Wilson, bringing the Montreux Convention on the agenda than the one that 'We do not find the world's international waters. This agreement is hampering us. Then it puts forward the thesis behind this work of power in Turkey. This is a meeting. So ‘What is this Montreux? Should we give up on this? Most recently, the work to be done, although the Ministry of Transport and Communications (Infrastructure), although a job that concerns the minister, 'We have prepared, tomorrow we are going to tender one day' blah blah blah blah, but the real thing about how this project tells the Minister of Foreign Affairs, it is understood that this is a political project, not a technical, economic one."
Gökçınar pointed out that some countries such as Bulgaria and Romania are members of NATO and then members of the European Union (EU), and that they expect their countries to have their bases established within the framework of the siege project of the Black Sea.
