In Malaysia's general election, supporters who started celebration after explaining that Mahathir Muhammad, nominated by People's Umpire (Harapan Rakyat) party won the election.

In the general election in Malaysia, the People's National Alliance, led by former Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammad, who was 92 years old, won the elections. The National Front, headed by corruption allegations, has been running the country for 61 years. Muhammad, who had been in power for 22 years as prime minister of the National Front, left his party in 2016. Mahathir's rival and the number of seats in the United Malay National Party (UMNO) under the leadership of current Prime Minister Necip Rezak have fallen to 79.

Rezzak has been in office as prime minister since 2009, while the United Malay National Party (UMNO), headed by him, has held power since 1957, when he gained independence for the country. Necip Rezzak, 65, is the son of Tun Abdul Rezak, the second prime minister of the country.
 
Mahathir Muhammad, who was elected as a candidate for the parties that came together in the name of the people's alliance of the Umayyads, National Opinion Leader Prof. Dr. Necmettin is known as Erbakan's close friend. Mahatir, who was also the founder of D-8, was the prime minister between 1981-2003. Mahathir also holds the title of politician who has held the longest term in Malaysia. During Mahathir's mandate, Malaysia became an international role model with the breakthroughs made in the economic arena.
 

DECLARED THE VICTORY

 
Mahathir declared victory, stating that he provided support for 112 seats needed to ensure the majority of parliamentary accounts in the statement he made yesterday evening.
 

PEOPLE'S HOPE ALLIANCE

 
At age 92 Mahathir Muhammad competed against the United Malay National Party, which he led for a long time. Muhammad emerged as a candidate for the People's Hope alliance formed by opposition parties against the ruling Necip Rezak.
 
The National Front led by the United Malay National Party had held power since 1957, when the country gained its independence from Britain.
 
Mahatir used statements like "We are not looking for revenge, we want to restructure the rule of law" in the statement made by journalists.
 
Following the corruption scandal that broke out in 2015, trust in Necip Rezak was reduced. Rezak was alleged to spend $ 700 million on embezzlement from a state fund called 1MDB. Despite rejecting the claims, he has prevented the opening of an alleged investigation into the changes in his duties.
