Govt to spend 300 million liras for football

The government, which invested billions of lira in stadiums built all over the country, will now spend 300 million TL from the state fund for football.

In a period when the economic crisis deepened with the pandemic, while bank loans were shown as an address to difficult tradesmen, artisans and employees, 300 million TL will be spent for football at once.

While large sums of money that could equip Anatolia with factories and solve unemployment were sacrificed for football by the government, 15 billion lira was spent for 31 stadiums.
