It was learned that in Greece, which was worried after the developments, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will visit Egypt.

After Egypt announced a hydrocarbon tender in the Eastern Mediterranean, acting in accordance with Turkey continental shelf thesis, a question of "Is a new curtain opening in Turkey-Egypt relations?" came to mind.
 
A statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Wednesday, March 3, regarding the development that has resonated in the international arena. Giving the green light to the development of relations with Egypt, Çavuşoğlu said, “It is a positive step that Egypt respects our continental shelf. According to the course of our relations, we can also sign an agreement with Egypt by negotiating maritime jurisdictions”.
