Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Cafer Güneş made evaluations on the agenda at the press conference he held. On the 100th anniversary of the August 30 Victory Day, Güneş commemorated all martyrs and veterans, especially Atatürk, with respect and gratitude.

“POWER DRUNKENNES MAKES THEM IGNORE CRIMES”

Pointing out that the Justice and Development Party (AKP) government, one of the longest political governments in Turkey, is nearing its end, Güneş stated that the government hastened to stay afloat towards the end of its power, and said, "The power drunkenness of the government causes them to turn their backs on the nation and to ignore those crimes with arrogance, no matter what crime is committed, why is this happening. Let alone being on the agenda in another country, even if spoken in a whisper, many more events that will activate the entire judiciary and cause the resignation of the government have been discussed in our country for months, but not a single step is taken. A name that was in the squares as the pastor of the People's Alliance, nowadays, what he says about power centers is not taken lightly, nor can it be swallowed. However, despite this, even the slightest step has not been taken to clear the dirty order of the power centers. The government does not need to take the necessary steps regarding the allegations, citing the personality and background of the claimant. No matter how debatable the credibility of the claimant is, necessary investigations should be initiated about these allegations in order to ease the public conscience and to preserve the legitimacy of politics. This is what should happen in every country where democracy and law are enforced."

“WE CALL CONSCIENT, ETHICAL, HONEST PROSECUTORS TO GO AGAINST THESE CLAIMS”

Stating that the inaction of the judiciary against the allegations of the crime organization leader Sedat Peker shows that the law is paralyzed, “The state that deviates from justice and transparency is more dangerous than the singer who deviates on the stage. With this together; Why do those who set their hours to 17:25 and say that they will celebrate 17/25 as Anti-Corruption Week remain silent against today's corruption allegations, and we leave this to the discretion of our nation. We as Saadet Party; We call on conscientious, moral and honest prosecutors to address these allegations. We expect honest prosecutors to fulfill their responsibilities towards this country at a time when politics is so polluted, society's distrust towards politics is at its peak, and respect for the state is damaged. This corruption system established by those who say that they will fight corruption, prohibitions and poverty when they enter the political scene will surely come to an end. Turkey will leave this order behind after one year at the latest. We are determined to clean up the dirt left behind by the emergence of this dirty network of relations and this order that exploits the state's opportunities,” Güneş added.

“THE GOVERNMENT DIDN'T GIVE THIS NATION WHAT IT WANTED, DESPITE ALL ITS AUTHORITY”

Stating that the last steps of the government they took are not to save the economy, but to save themselves, Güneş pointed out that the steps taken were only to increase the falling votes again, and said, “First, the additional indicator decision, the increase in the minimum wage, the income regulations, and now the studies on Retirement Age Victims (EYT) are the signs that the government has implemented an election economy. The government has left aside how to fix the economy and is calculating how to fix the falling vote rates in the polls. Because the AKP, despite 20 years of opportunity, could not establish a permanent and sustainable development economy. There is a fire in the kitchen, an earthquake in the bazaar. Demanding support from the nation, saying that the biggest obstacle is the bureaucratic tutelage and parliamentary system, the government, so to speak, ‘got whatever it wanted’ from the nation. However, despite all his power and authority, he could not give this nation what it wanted.”

“POWER PREFERS SUSTAINABLE POVERTY”

Reminding the relevant regulation about the undertaking of the execution debts of the citizen brought by the government, “The government, which proudly describes the increase in social aid recipients, seems happy and proud to undertake the debts of execution this time. The executive debt of 6 million people, amounting to approximately 30 billion Turkish Liras (TL), will be liquidated. Thus, the state will assume the debts arising from contracts related to basic needs such as electricity, water, natural gas and telephone. This step of the government does not show that Turkey is growing, as it is said, but that poverty is spreading. The government, which says that everyone has a car in front of their house, there is no shortage of livelihood, says that now they will help people who cannot meet their basic needs such as electricity and water. Moreover, the government is trying to present this support, which will be met with the money of the nation, as a blessing. The government prefers sustainable poverty rather than building a prosperous society,” Güneş added.

“WE ARE THE ALTERNATIVE OF THE SYSTEM, NOT THE PEOPLE”

Güneş expressing that the Saadet Party is against this system, stated that Saadet Party will fix this distorted system and he said, “We, as the Saadet Party, are against this distorted order. We are an alternative to the system, not the people. We do not agree with this order, we do not agree with these conditions in which our people are condemned! We do not accept and reject this understanding that does not make our people live humanely. With the common sense policies of Milli Gorus, we will establish a fair order instead of this crooked and dirty order. We will spread the welfare by ensuring justice in the distribution of income. We will abolish the rent system, especially in public tenders. We will not allow anyone to have bread in another's crop. We will not allow the feeling of being wronged to flourish in the hearts of any citizen.”
