TurkStat announced the inflation figures for March. With the monthly inflation announced as 2.29 percent, the inflation for the first three months of 2023 reached 12.52 percent, and it was started to talk about how much the inflation difference to be made for civil servants and pensioners.
 
"Memur-Sen" Deputy Chairman Hacı Bayram Tonbul drew attention to the growing inequality of income distribution despite the regulations, and called for a regulation regarding the melting salaries.
 
Stating that the 6-monthly increase in civil servants and pensions can no longer be maintained, Tonbul stated that the transition to the echelle mobile system is inevitable.
 
"Considering the current state of the public personnel system, the public personnel system has moved away from being a fair application ground among the employees in its current state. Especially with some title-based regulations, a significant number of people have been victimized, and the wage balance among those who have received similar wages in the past has been ignored. There are a few issues that are deficient and must be done here; Before making any regulation regarding public officials, the authorized confederation should be consulted, social dialogue mechanisms should be used effectively, and all kinds of regulations and practices that could disrupt the work peace and wage balance between public officials, except collective agreements, should be avoided. should be reconsidered and revised within the framework of today's economic conditions," he said.

Stating that the additional indicator regulation should now be out of the country's agenda, Tonbul pointed out that due to the public employees excluded from the 3600 regulation, it caused a great injustice.
 
"We have struggled to include a regulation in this direction in the Last Bag of Law and to give 3600 additional indicators to all public officials who come to the first degree, especially chief, technician, technician, treasurer of goods, VHKİ. We will continue to follow the issue until all grievances are resolved. While the regulation regarding the additional indicators is made with the Law No. 7417, in the 60th article of the relevant law; compensation indicators of upper-class executives have been increased. This additional income increase caused reactions from both the unions and our public servants. As the gap between the ceiling and the floor widens by making such arrangements, unrest occurs, people's uneasiness turns into social unrest, expenditures and savings become unbalanced and pessimism increases," he added.
