Hamas calls on the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem, and Palestinian territories to defend al-Aqsa Mosque and defy the Israeli decision to close the sacred site. The movement also urges them to uphold their inalienable right to go in and out the holy compound freely.
Hamas urges the Arab and Islamic people along with all free people of the world to take a firm stance towards the Muslims’ first Qibla (destination) and third-holiest site. They have to act immediately in order to stop the Israeli violations and attacks on Jerusalem, its residents, and holy sites.
Finally, the Palestinian people are determined to foil the Israeli measures aimed to impose a new reality in al-Aqsa Mosque and to deny them their right to access the sacred compound.
