In a telephoned speech projected through loudspeakers on Tuesday evening during the Great March of Return south of Lebanon, Hanyia added, "The massacre perpetrated yesterday by the Israeli Occupation in Gaza proves the terrorist nature of Israel even when dealing with peaceful protests.”
He noted that the Great March of Return in Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Jordan attracted the world's attention to the biggest event in the history of the Zionist entity adding that "our people decided neither to give up nor to surrender."
He called on the Israeli Occupation to think twice before quelling the peaceful protesters adding, "Don't test the Palestinian resistance's patience."
The popular resistance will extend to the West Bank and inside the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories," Hanyia continued addressing the Israeli Occupation and those compromising with it.
“The Palestinian people during these hard times are willingly sacrificing themselves for the sake of their homeland and they have never thought of surrendering to the Israeli Occupation and they will continue to resist it,” he noted.
He confirmed that Hamas, along with the Palestinian factions and the free people of the world, will be loyal to the Palestinians' struggles and their sacrifices for the past 70 years of resistance and revolutions against the Israeli occupation.
Regarding the US embassy move to Jerusalem, Haniyeh said, “Our stance in rejecting Trump's decision to move his country's embassy to Jerusalem will go down in history and we will never give up our legitimate rights.”
He urged the Palestinian Authority to scrap the Oslo Accords and withdraw its recognition of the Zionist entity, as well as lifting the punitive measures imposed on Gaza.
He concluded by calling for the Palestinians' unity and developing a unified position through holding a unified national council, where Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and all Palestinian factions can take part, based on a national strategy that adheres to the national principles and resistance.
