In a brief statement on Wednesday, Haneyya said that his Movement relies in its ceasefire negotiations on the steadfastness and creativeness of the Palestinian resistance on the battlefield and works with might and main for an end to the Israeli aggression against its people in Gaza.
“The position of US president Joe Biden [over Gaza] in his speeches keeps changing, but it is being tested on the ground,” Haneyya said.
The Hamas leader stressed the need for the US administration to take action to stop Israel’s genocidal war and starvation campaign in Gaza.
He also said that the Palestinians in the West Bank are being exposed to Israeli suppression and aggression in order to distract them from supporting Gaza, expressing his belief that the Israeli campaign in the West Bank would be doomed to failure.
