Education and employment policies that cannot be put on track continue to victimize young people. While the health management and health institution management departments, which have been providing education in Turkey for nearly 60 years, continue to produce new graduates every year, approximately 150 thousand graduates are waiting to be employed.

Young people continue to suffer the consequences of mistakes in the government's education and employment policies.

While the departments of health management and health institutions management, which have been providing education at universities for nearly 60 years, continue to produce graduates every year, they expect to be employed along with 150 thousand graduates.

Graduates who were not included in the appointments are counting the days to take part in the appointments as soon as possible.

THERE IS NO APPOINTMENT BUT A NEW QUOTA IS ANNOUNCED EVERY YEAR

The victims, who have many professional problems, are troubled by the fact that they do not have a professional definition and title.

While the departments do not even have appointments, new graduates continue to be produced every year from the departments where new quotas are given every year.

According to YÖK's 2023 data, the 2-year Health Institutions Management department in 74 universities and the 4-year Health Management department in 80 universities continue to actively provide education.

While education continues to be provided in these departments in more than 150 universities, these departments continue to produce only 'unemployed people with diplomas'.

Each year, an average of 20 thousand graduates are given from departments that are competent to work in many positions in hospitals, such as purchasing and warehouse management, quality coordinator, patient and employee rights unit.

Currently, around 150 thousand graduates are waiting to be employed. Approximately 50 thousand students continue to receive education in the departments where education is currently ongoing.

ONLY 400 APPOINTMENTS WERE MADE OUT OF 85 THOUSAND HEALTH WORKERS

With a regulation made in 2014, since the "health manager" position was not included in the "Health Services and Auxiliary Health Services Class" table of the Decree Law No. 190 on General Staff and Procedure, young people who graduated from this department could not be appointed.

Following the statement made by the Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca on November 11, 2022, only 400 people were recruited in the 42 thousand 500 recruitment, which is the first part of the 85 thousand healthcare personnel recruitment within the scope of the 'White Reform'.

In this recruitment, the recruitment was made under the name of office clerk, not within the scope of the field.

In the second recruitment, the failure to recruit from these departments caused a reaction, while the victims demand that the appointment problem be resolved as soon as possible.
