President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in a statement he made recently, announced that President Yitzak Herzog of the Israeli regime would come to Turkey in early February.
Erdogan announced yesterday that the "normalization" calendar has changed. Holding a press conference at Esenboğa Airport before his departure to Ukraine, Erdoğan said that the visit in question was planned to take place in mid-March.
Speaking on the subject, "That visit will take place in mid-March. With this visit, we will try to put our bilateral relations on a very different ground for the future in a positive direction. This approach of ours is also present on the Israeli side. Maybe it will be a preliminary study by sending our special representative to Israel, just as their special representatives came to us before Herzok's arrival," he said.
COMMON REACTION FROM 55 NGOs: "HERZOG DO NOT COME"
55 NGOs, calling themselves the "Jerusalem Council", published a statement entitled "The Occupying President Should Not Come to Our Country".
In that statement, "We are deeply concerned about Isaac Herzog's coming to our country for an official visit as the president of the occupying Israeli regime, and we do not consider it acceptable as the Jerusalem Council, which consists of 55 NGOs in Turkey," it was stated.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that President Yitzak Herzog of the Israeli regime will come to Turkey in March.
According to the planned calendar, the reactions towards the visit in question are increasing shortly before Herzog's arrival in Turkey.
Finally, 55 organizations, including NGOs close to HAMAS, reacted to the government. 55 NGOs, calling themselves the "Jerusalem Council", published a statement entitled "The Occupying President Should Not Come to Our Country".
On behalf of our nation and the ummah, we find it acceptable that Yitzak Hertzog will come to our country for an official visit as the president of the occupying Israeli regime.
It would be an extremely humiliating situation that bleeds the conscience that the so-called representative of the occupying regime will hold high-level contacts, while so many terrorist acts against humanity are evident.
We request the authorities to cancel the visit decision taken in order not to let this shame on our beloved nation and ummah.
It is not possible to imagine that the occupier, who adopted occupation and tyranny as a policy and continued to spread their oppression and cruelty day by day to all aspects of Palestine, especially to the holy city of Jerusalem, took an interest in our country as if nothing had happened.
What is wanted to be done is to legitimize the normalization steps that have been carried out in the region for a while through Turkey and to try to hide the persecution from the eyes of the world public opinion.
THE HOME OF INNOCENT FAMILIES DESTROYED IN PALESTINE
The crimes committed by the occupying regime are too numerous to count.
Not a day goes by that the invading security forces and settlers do not degrade the dignity of our harem by raiding Masjid al-Aqsa.
Not a day goes by that the home of an innocent family in fraternal Palestine is not destroyed by the occupation forces.
Not a day goes by that children and young people are not brutally detained and women are not exposed to violence.
Even olive groves and agricultural fields, which are the only means of livelihood of the Palestinians, cannot save themselves from the plunder of the invader.
