Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy and Chairman of the Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman brought the Ministry of Family and Social Services to the agenda of Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) to provide natural gas bill support to the citizens with the end of the winter months.
Karaduman, who submitted a question to the Presidency of TBMM with the request of the Minister of Family and Social Services Derya Yanık to answer, stated that the natural gas bill support in question would start on the wrong date and emphasized that the support should be made as soon as possible.
WAITING FOR THE WINTER SEASON TO END?
Reminding that the Ministry of Family and Social Services will provide natural gas bill support between 450 Turkish Liras (TL) and 1,150 TL per household as of March, Karaduman asked, "While the natural gas hikes are hastily, what is the reason for the aid to be made in March, Mrs. Minister?"
Karaduman asked the following questions to Minister Yanık;
“To help the natural gas bills, which have reached unpayable levels with the latest hikes, are you waiting for it to winter ends? What is the reason for the urgent hike in natural gas and the aid in March? What message are you trying to convey with this practice? You say that we will reach 4 million families in need, what works are you doing to reduce the rapidly increasing number of needy poverty?”
