Acting with the slogan of India without Muslims, Hindu terrorists continue their material and moral persecution against Muslims. The Hindus, who receive power and support from the Hindu racist government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, are increasing their terrorist activities day by day. The persecution of the Hindus, who raided the homes of Muslims, burned mosques, and made riots during prayer times such as iftar, sahur and tarawih in the blessed month of Ramadan, which we left behind, has now extended to the azan, one of the symbols of Islam. In Mumbai, the capital of India's Maharashtra state, it was decided to turn down the call to prayer in mosques upon the complaint of Hindus. It is foreseen that the scandalous decision will spread in different states and will set a precedent for its implementation across India.

AZAN SOUND MUTED AT 900 MOSQUES IN MUMBAI

In Mumbai, where 900 mosques are located, the voices of the azan were silenced as a result of pressure and intimidation by Hindu terrorists. The call to prayer restriction, which was the result of the pressures of the Prime Minister Modi and his racist lawmakers' policy towards Islamic values, was welcomed by the Hindus and increased the sadness and anxiety of the Muslims of India. Hindu terrorists, who have increased their extremism even more with the support they have received from the Modi government, which has ruled India since 2014, are unfortunately moving step by step towards their goal of ‘India without Muslims’ in the face of the world's unresponsiveness and the indifference of the Islamic world.

HINDU POLITICIAN TARGETED MOSQUES

Hindu politician Raj Thackeray came to the fore as the name that provoked the azan restriction in Mumbai. Calling his supporters to pressure Muslims, Thackeray said, “If religion is private, why are Muslims allowed to use loudspeakers 365 days a year? My Hindu brothers, sisters and mothers, let's get together and lift down these speakers. If the prayer restriction is not implemented, Hindus will protest around mosques,” and made provocative statements.

During Ramadan, shops and homes of Muslims were looted and set on fire in many states of India. Muslim families were driven from their homes while mosques were attacked and burned. The most prominent event among these attacks was the demolition of the house of 72-year-old Sheikh Mohammed Refik, living in the state of Madhya Pradesh, by Indian police and municipal police teams without any legal justification.

Hundreds of Muslims were injured in the fight caused by Hindu terrorists who attacked Muslims on the first day of Eid al-Fitr in the city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

MUSLIMS HAVE DIFFICULTIES TO DEFEND THEMSELVES

Local scholars who spoke about the azan restriction in Mumbai stated that they were compelled to accept the decision. A Muslim scholar from Mumbai, who stated that they were worried about Hindus starting a new wave of attacks on Muslims, and said, "While Hindu leaders are trying to portray Islam as a violent religion by attacking Muslims, we Muslims must stay calm and keep our cool in the face of these evil perception operations."
