Hiranur Association, which is a bridge between philanthropists and those in need in Turkey and various parts of the world, continued its work throughout 2023.
Hiranur Association, which carries out many studies in the fields of qurban, drilling water wells, raising hafiz, providing food, support to Palestine and earthquake aid, has published a statement for 2023.
In the statement describing the activities carried out during the year, detailed information was given about how the support of philanthropists was used.
QURBAN DONATIONS AND WATER WELL PROJECTS
In the statement made by Hiranur Association, "On Eid al-Adha 2023, as Hiranur Association, we organized sacrifice organizations in many countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, especially in Turkey. We spread the blessings of the holiday all over the world by delivering thousands of shares of sacrificial donations to families in need. In order to provide hope to people living in regions without access to clean water, we opened a total of 50 new water wells in the African and Asian continents in 2023. Thanks to these wells, tens of thousands of people were provided with access to clean water, thus contributing to the improvement of health conditions," it was stated.
HAFIZ TRAINING PROGRAMS, FOOD SERVING AND IFTAR
"We focused on hafiz training programs at local and international levels in order to transfer our cultural and religious heritage to future generations. Within the scope of these programs, we provided educational scholarships to hundreds of students and supported them to complete their hafiz education. During Ramadan, we organized iftar programs for thousands of people living in poverty in Turkey and around the world. We also delivered hot meals to families in need through our regular food offering activities throughout the year," the statement added.
SUPPORT TO PALESTINE, EARTHQUAKE AID
The statement also touched upon the aid provided to stand by the Palestinian people.
"In 2023, we sent education, health and emergency humanitarian aid supplies to Palestine. We have carried out various projects to contribute to alleviating the difficult living conditions in the region. After the earthquakes in 2023, we provided emergency aid supplies, shelter and treatment services to earthquake victims in Turkey and other affected regions. We made the lives of thousands of people easier with our fast and effective interventions during the crisis. As Hiranur Association, we were able to carry out all these activities thanks to the support of our charitable donors and the devoted work of our volunteers. We are committed to continuing to lend a helping hand to people in need and to expand our aid projects in the coming years," the statement said.
