“OUR BROTHERS ARE WAITING FOR A HELPING HAND TO REACH THEM”

Foreign Officer and Press Advisor Geylani Karaarslan, "Our oppressed Syrian brothers and sisters, who have been struggling to survive in the shadow of bombs and guns due to the war that has been going on for years, are faced with the danger of freezing in tent cities and camps in these freezing temperatures. In fact, in some regions, unfortunately, we receive news that there are people who froze to death due to the cold. In addition, the economic difficulties brought by the war make the lives of our brothers even more deplorable. Our brothers and sisters, who do not have the financial power to meet their deficiencies such as food, stove, coal, clothes and blankets, which are the most basic needs to survive in these cold winter days, are waiting for a helping hand to reach them," he said.

"As the Hiranur Science and Service Association, we could not remain unresponsive after seeing the suffering of our oppressed Syrian brothers that hurt their conscience, and we took action to do something right away. Our team, which has been in the region for a few weeks, has delivered aid to some regions, but we do not consider this enough as we know that there are hundreds of thousands of people still waiting for help. For this reason, we are going to Syria on February 4 in order to see the situation in the region on the spot and to provide the necessary aid, to expand the work we have been carrying out for days more comprehensively and to reach more people. Within the scope of our Winter Aid project, we want to be a balm for their wounds by helping our brothers with food, stove, coal, clothes and blankets, warming their hearts a little bit. In this direction, our philanthropic friends can also support our Syrian brothers and sisters with their donations in our charity journey," he added.
