In order to provide economic support to severely disabled citizens and their families in need of care, a total of 1 billion 876 million TL of home care assistance has been deposited into accounts this month. Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services, said that wages have begun to be deposited into accounts. Yanık stated that they have developed and diversified care services for disabled citizens in line with the family-oriented social service policy, and said, “With the home care assistance we started in 2006 with the aim of providing the care of disabled people with their families and supporting them in their environment, we support our citizens who have a severely disabled relative in need of care and cannot work because they take care of them.”
YANIK: “562 THOUSAND CITIZENS BENEFIT THIS MONTH”
Reminding that 3 thousand 336 TL per month is paid per beneficiary within the scope of home care assistance, Minister Yanık continued as follows:
“For providing economic support to severely disabled citizens and their families who need care, we started to deposit 1 billion 876 million TL of home care assistance into accounts this month. This month, 562 thousand of our citizens benefit from home care assistance. I wish good luck to all our disabled citizens. I would like to emphasize that we stand by our disabled citizens in every field from economy to social life with the inclusive, equitable and sustainable services we have developed in this direction,” Derya Yanık said.
