In our country where the homeless population is increasing gradually, it has been revealed that the problems within the family increase the number of homeless people. Divorce criteria very easy in Turkey, where the basic structure of society carries the family is falling apart. In his statement to our newspaper, Sakarya University Social Service Department faculty member Prof. Dr. Yusuf Genç stated that the Western-style mentality has become increasingly effective in our society and that this is extremely worn out for the family, and stated that the Law No. 6284 is also effective in the increase of the homeless population in our country.
Noting that men were removed from home with the Law No. 6284 in case of any problem in the family, Genç, "The man makes this a matter of pride. Even when he does not have a place to shelter, he prefers to stay on the street. This is why the number of homeless people is increasing," he said.
DIVORCE CRITERIA EASED
Pointing out that the greatest source of family problems is communicative and economic reasons, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Genç noted that “peer-to-peer communication” is one of the areas where individuals need to gain problem solving skills.
"Divorce cases increased. The education level of families with divorce cases also increased. A large part of this ratio is the segment that we can say is living modern life. Divorce criteria have also become very easy. There used to be great reasons for divorce, now this is not the case. People can get divorced for very simple reasons," he added.

It is stated that the homeless population phenomenon in our country is growing gradually, and it is noted that family problems are also one of the reasons for this situation. In addition, it is stated that communicative and economic reasons come to the fore in the formation of family problems. The reason for the inability to solve these problems lies in the increasing influence of the Western-style mentality in our society.
The occurrence of family problems can arise from parent-child relationships as well as from husband-wife relationships. Communication problems, economic difficulties can be effective in the formation of problems for the family. It has recently been seen that the removal of men from home has also led to an increase in the homeless population. We see that these people stay on the street if they do not have a place to shelter. We see that the decisions to be taken away from home increased the number of people living on the streets," Genç added.
SOLUTION; MORAL AND SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING
Although guesthouses are presented as a solution to eliminate the homeless population phenomenon, which is only one of the problems caused by family problems, the real solution is based on morality and spirituality. This understanding should be based on the solution of our problems and laws should be enacted in this direction.
