Ali Çetinkaya, the distributor of Milli Gazete, who was caught in Hatay after the 6 February earthquakes that shocked the whole of Turkey and went to the Mut district of Mersin with his family after the earthquake, handed over the gold he found in the pillow given to him by the Red Crescent to the police with a report.
HE FOUND A BRACELET BOX, DELIVERED TO THE POLICE
Ali Çetinkaya, the distributor of Milli Gazete, stated that he learned a week later that his wife and children had come to Mut from Hatay, where they lived after the earthquake, and that he came afterwards.
"My wife and children came to Mut a week before me. I lost track of them as there was no phone. A week later I found out they were in Mut. Thanks to AFAD, I came to Mut. Here I applied to the Red Crescent. To see if there is a place to sleep or stay. The Red Cross also helped me. He provided a place to sleep, a pillow, a quilt. When I went home in the evening and laid my head, I felt a hard substance on the pillow. When I looked inside later, I saw that there was a bracelet box inside. I came to Kızılay and handed it over to the police, who were called in return for a report," he said.

Mut Youth and Sports Director Muhammet Senemli, who coordinates the Red Crescent Representation, stated that Ali Çetinkaya exhibited a very valuable behavior.
"The friend told us the incident in the morning himself. We called security. We handed it over to the police in exchange for a report. I congratulate my friend for this behavior," he said.
