The union officials met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, after the act of wearing black, which was carried out by Büro Memur-Sen Union, affiliated to Memur-Sen Confederation, against the economic and personal rights problems of the employees within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
HOPE INCREASED FOR EMPLOYEES WITH THE ACTION TAKEN
Along with the act of wearing black, it was stated that the salaries of the employees in the country and abroad were melting due to inflation, and the problems related to personal rights were pointed out. While the action was resounding, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with union officials. Making a post on the meeting on his social media account, Ali Yalçın, Chairman of Memur-Sen Confederation, stated that they met with Minister Çavuşoğlu and said, “We discussed the economic and personnel demands of Bureau Memur-Sen Union for domestic and foreign personnel within the ministry. Thank to the Minister for his positive approach to the solution of the problems.”
AFTER THE ACTION, PERSONNEL MET WITH THE MINISTER
Bureau Memur-Sen Union had recently carried out a protest of wearing black, regarding the problems of domestic and foreign personnel working within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After the demonstration, union officials who conveyed the demands of the employees regarding both economic and personal rights by meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated that they were hopeful for the meeting.
