Today is Thursday March 7th and tomorrow is March 8th International Women's Day.

In case we can forget it tomorrow, we will celebrate the day of our women already now.

Happy 8 March International Women's Day.

(By the way, one question: When will men see their day?)

As men and women, we are dominating this world.

Our value isn’t in our effort to be the same, but in our distinctness and difference.

I wish we knew how a beautiful word “difference” is!

As the master Sezai Karakoc said in his “The Pray of Rain”: “fortunately there are differences from person to person”.

If Allah would, he has made us one Ummah.

He could create us with one language, one color, one type and one genre very well.

Seeking and excitement come into existence from differences, not supremacy and dominance.

If someone of one of the groups that differ with their characteristics gets above the other means not only self-misreading but also misreading of the other.

It's the looking in the mirror in a right way. In order to look at the mirror in a “right” way, it’s necessary to look towards the mirror.

In terms of creation, there is no superiority of one genre to another.

It has complementarity, walking and orientation.

Man walks towards woman and woman towards man.

We are separated by our sexes, lineages, families to provide this walking.

Qur'an says to this walking: “meeting”, “being met”.

There are different characteristics and qualifications in both genres, which provides one to be interested in the other.

In the words of recent time, it creates “awareness”.

Therefore, the man discerns himself in a woman and a woman discerns herself in a man.

Femininity and masculinity are also elements of the personality that must be protected by staying in its own borders. If the term “Women Rights” is spoken, it is about the ongoing situation of women’s unjust treatment, oppression and exploitation.

Exploitation and cruelty are the greatest human rights violations regardless of to whom it’s done and from whom it comes.

If the man's exploitation towards women is mentioned, it shouldn’t be devoted to a certain group, period or belief form.

In fact, injustice against women is made in every period and only the form of it changes with modern or classic methods.

In traditional societies, rights violations against women occur with the distortion of the traditions and their trauma.

In particular, the Islamic tradition has developed an attitude not to protect women, but to avoid them. To be avoided is to be the subject of attention to an asset.

In addition to the attractive differences between men and women, there are also increasing numbers of commonality with modern life.

The most important of these commonalities is to be exploited by their fellows as a human being.

Feminism, unfortunately, seeks the search for women's rights at wrong addresses.

It's a strange attitude, like searching in the garden for something lost in the room or looking in daylight for something lost in the dark.

Those who see the world as a field of power, try to use their advantages and powers against each other.

There is no end to this defiance and struggle.

The world is a place where one side of the teeter totter is always above or below from the other.

Even if one sees the other below of above himself/herself for a while, this is nothing more than instant false notion.

The main thing is to stabilize the teeter totter by turns.

If one cans control himself/herself according to the weight of the other on the other side of the teeter totter, the problem will be solved.
