In order to face the socio-economic realities in our country, the report “The Outlook of Society: Turkish Society with Statistical Data” should be examined. The report, prepared by the Social Data Platform, sheds light on key indicators of social issues. The research, which focuses on 2010 and beyond, evaluates "the change experienced and the implications for the future". It offers data and analyzes from many different fields, from family to working life, from economy to law, from education to culture, for the benefit of institutions that will strengthen the social structure.

Socioeconomic Meltdown

According to the report; The urban population has been increasing continuously for the last fifty years, the population living in towns and villages is decreasing, and the number of irregular migrants in the countryside is increasing. There are a number of problems in many areas from dense urbanization, air pollution to waste and recycling management, from lack of transportation to housing rents. These problems are reflected in social life and cause deep wounds.

For example, “juvenile delinquency is on the rise, the age at first marriage has been rising for both men and women since 2010, and divorces are on the rise”!

At the root of the problems experienced; The weakening of the social and social structure lies in the neoliberal economic policies implemented after 1980.

It is seen that a development with a lack of spiritual dimension causes disaster, and an education whose spiritual aspect is neglected causes corruption.

Income Inequality and Borrowing

The system, which is being tried to be integrated, increases the inequality in the income distribution of the Turkish economy and widens the gap between income and debt for households. While the middle class and labor depreciate, wealth is concentrated in the upper-percentage income groups.

This also shows that; With the process of adapting to global markets, the economy started to financialize and this situation triggered income inequality.

On the other hand, the consumption-oriented economy creates unemployment and has a negative effect on the youth, and young people face problems arising from the labor market in the transition from education to business life. The economy, which has become dependent on indirect taxes such as trade and consumption, has produced young people who are neither in education nor in employment because "a fair taxation system does not work".

Projects of Special Importance

In order to strengthen the social structure, which has suffered "permanent damage" in the law as infrastructure and in the economy as a superstructure, projects of special importance should be put into use. Firstly; In order to end internal migration, “employment areas and attraction centers in medium and small-scale cities” should be created. In this context; Listing (data) the work done on the "material issues" and the organizations that have done them should be the first step. Thus, by answering the "why, what, how" questions, the balance of "education, work and social life" will be achieved.
The main purpose of social policies; to create a unity of ideas, discourse and action in order to disseminate this balance. "Adapting to innovations without corrupting social values, ensuring economic and social development" should be the main priority. Thus, consciousness can be created by producing training with subjects that will give hope to humanity, training with guests, education with positions.

Triggering Consciousness

We must strengthen the social life that triggers the consciousness that will bring people closer to the principles and procedures. In this respect, “educating the soul/education of the individual and the management of the society/ummah” should be reconsidered. The main purpose should be to mature morally, to work with ihsan, to know the wrong behaviors and the ways to eliminate them, and to apply them in our lives.

To establish a consciousness-raising social structure; It requires piety that will stop putting the interests first, sincerity that will curb polarization, and a culture of working together that will put the self into the background. This is possible by renewing the consensus. It requires hard work in these works, consultation that will end the perpetrator, good morals that will save him from exaggeration and treachery, and good morals that will put an end to backbiting and indignation. This is possible by beautifying the unity of discourse. In these works, it requires hard work, spending that will end hopelessness, loyalty to stop procrastination, and obedience to put an end to laziness. This is possible by developing unity of action.

Union of Hearts

Educational processes, "education, training" frameworks and levels are important in strengthening a social structure that provides unity of thought, discourse and action. An understanding that reframes structure with education, people with education, processes with education, and relations with education is gained. With teaching (education), perseverance is gained instead of arrogance. Patience is shaped instead of greed with education. With education (mastery), cooperation is developed instead of envy.

A contribution to the society (correct information, good behavior and useful studies) is presented with the education formed by all these gains. Education and structure, education and human, education and processes, and education and relations are reframed.

A structure that is in a certain order and harmony is provided with the elements of "They are like solid structures strengthened as they are brought together" as an example in the 4th verse of Surat al-Saff. In addition to material unity and order, the spirit of unity and solidarity is gained.
