Adverse weather conditions lasted for three days, but negative economic conditions continue every day. The negativities caused by snowfalls and extreme cold were overcome in a short time, but the number of people lining up to buy cheap bread is increasing. Economic difficulties have deepened the grievances of our citizens, and the standard of living has unfortunately been defeated by the cost of living.

In our country, the hunger limit for a family of four has exceeded 5 thousand TL. The gap between the hunger limit and the minimum wage is increasing when it should have been closed. Since the annual change in the prices of basic necessities has doubled, purchasing power is decreasing day by day. Because the promises of current economic practices and the realities we encounter are far from each other.

Balloon Growth

While these negativities continued in the households, the organized industrial zones, the lifeblood of the economy, faced a three-day energy cut. The economic loss of the industrial establishments operating in OIZs, naturally to our country, has reached billions of dollars. Only in the iron and steel and automotive sectors, the economic loss was 1 billion dollars. Along with price increases, energy cuts are presented to the consumer as products with a higher price increase.

Our nation is in the frost this winter, as electricity and natural gas bills have doubled in just one month. Since not only foreign exchange reserves but also natural gas reserves melt, it is not possible to proceed with "make-up" figures and "good news". Since the growth that does not increase the living standard of the citizens is a "bubble growth", our people, who are stuck in the pressure of interest and inflation, are forced to continue their lives through individual loans.

(What) We Live Like This!

The real value of the Turkish lira, leaving the 2001 crisis behind, reached its lowest level. National income per capita has fallen for 7 years in a row, including the world war and the 4 coups we saw. The total debt of those who have personal loan and card debt has exceeded the 1 trillion lira limit. The number of individuals with personal loan and card debt reaches 35 million. These indicators are enough to explain why manufacturing companies, not banks, should be tax record holders in developing countries.

The psychological shocks created by the economy are felt even by our 10-year-old children, let alone retirees or employees. There are primary school students who carry only dry bread in their lunch box, and university students who spend the day with a single meal. A life that increases the number of people who have to spend time under their blankets, a father who cannot meet the most basic needs of his house, and a mother who thinks about what to cook every night is not worthy of human dignity.

Hope and Exit

There are more than 20 million people living under the poverty line. It has reached 42% of our population who have no home to lay their heads on. Life unworthy of human dignity has become so evident that; Our social fault lines have become fragile. The cost of living has increased so much that; There was no need for opposition parties to even oppose. In that case; While this is the real agenda, unnecessary and unnecessary boatman fights should not be put on the agenda. Time should not be wasted with produced agendas and perceptions. We do not have to renew the same page, a new page can be opened together!

The priority is to focus on solutions that are the "problem of the nation" and will provide a "cure for their problem". Questions of hope and exit should be asked: How can we raise the living standards of our people? How can the livelihood of millions of people below the hunger and poverty line be handled? How can it open new jobs for our youth? How can it increase employment and production? How can measures be taken to eliminate disruptions in production? How can foreign dependency be reduced in all fields, especially in energy? Are you asking these questions too? Then; "It is going to be happen with you"!
