In the 2022 Eid al-Adha organization organized by the Federation of Associations that Value Humans (IDDEF) with the slogan ‘Share Your Qurban with Your Brother’, 84,339 shares were sacrificed in 264 regions in 40 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Balkans. In this context, the abundance of qurban was carried to the homes of approximately 4 million poor people. With the trust and experience of 13 years, IDDEF has completed its distribution after veterinary control by slaughtering the qurbans first hand in accordance with Islamic methods and rules, without working with any intermediary institution. Reaching oppressed and aggrieved geographies with the slaughtering and distribution of qurbans in refugee camps, areas experiencing drought and famine and war zones in countries such as Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Gaza, Yemen and Syria, İDDEF ensures that each donor handed over to those in need, students who study in a madrasa and their poor families with great sensitivity.
THE DONOR WAS INFORMED BY SMS AND VIDEO
IDDEF, which sends an informative SMS to every donor after the slaughter process is completed within the scope of the Qurban program, and delivers the slaughter videos even though they were not promised due to the technical and physical conditions of the challenging geographies, log in to the member panel of the benefactors via the www.iddef.org website and view the donation details, allowed them to learn in which country and location of the qurban that was cut in the area. On the other hand, IDDEF teams visited the madrasahs and orphanages belonging to IDDEF in the countries they went to as part of the qurban activities and presented the students with Eid clothes and toys. IDDEF officials also gave the children Eidd clothes, toys, balloons and sweets in the villages they went to for the qurban, making them feel the joy of the Eid to the fullest.
