IHH teams reaches the villages affected by the natural disaster

Immediately after the disaster in the Western Black Sea region, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation started its work in the disaster area.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which started its activities in Bartın, Sinop and Kastamonu after the flood in the Western Black Sea Region, started to deliver aid to the villages whose electricity was cut and roads were closed.
 
Immediately after the disaster in the Western Black Sea region, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation started its work in the disaster area. IHH Disaster Management Units continue their search for our missing citizens in the region and deliver food supplies to the villages. So far, IHH has been working in the region with 35 coordination officers, 195 evacuation and search and rescue officers, a mobile soup kitchen, and 55 duty vehicles. So far, food items for 18 thousand people, hot food for 6 thousand 400 people and drinking water for 8 trucks have been distributed in the flood-affected areas through IHH.

In the statement made by IHH, "Volunteers, donors and earthquake victims registered in the IHH system after the disaster were called by the IHH Communication Center to determine whether they had any needs. As a result of the determinations, the villages in need are reached and distributions are made in areas of need such as food, water, bread and hygiene materials. Aid was delivered to people who were victims of floods in Sakızcılar, Kızılcaelma and Keşlik villages of Kastamonu and İnaltı village of Sinop Ayancık and its surroundings. Due to the fires in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions, IHH Mobile Soup Kitchen in Antalya reached the flood area and started to deliver hot meals to the victims. IHH stands by our citizens in the disaster area with all its means," it was stated.
